Introducing OUI – the subscription-based low-speed electric vehicle set to transform urban mobility
OUI, a low-speed electric 4-seater, developed by architect Barend Koolhaas and design studio Springtime Design, is set to redefine mobility as we know it. It takes a progressive approach to urban transportation. With the innovative concept wants to revolutionise city streets and promote a car-free lifestyle.
Cities worldwide are embracing a movement towards greener, more people-friendly streets. With OUI, the focus is on creating space for trees, landscaping, social interaction, pedestrians, and cyclists. By reducing car usage, public space that is currently dedicated to parking can be reclaimed.
OUI – the low-speed electric vehicle (LEV)
OUI is not your typical vehicle. It's light, energy-efficient, and designed with circular strategies in mind. With a maximum speed of 15-45km/h, OUI doesn't require a driving license, making it accessible to all. Whether you need to transport cargo or travel privately with a group.
Currently, OUI serves as a discussion showpiece at public events, but the goal of the team around OUI is to bring the actual vehicle to life.
