The new e-scooter concept from Audi
With its new e-scooter concept, Audi is jumping on the wave of multimodal locomotion. The Audi e-tron scooter combines e-scooter and skateboard. With a weight of only 12 kg, the scooter can simply be folded up for transport in the car, bus or train, practically stowed in the trunk or pulled as a trolley. The distinctive character of the e-tron scooter lies in the handling, which is reminiscent of the movement sequence when surfing. The driver has one hand on the handlebar, one hand free, so that he can easily look around and give hand signals and steers the scooter with his feet like a skateboard. Production and sales are planned for the end of 2020.
